The Wedding Ring represents so much and should convey each other's personality as well as being practical, especially if you are never taking them off.
Usually a ladies wedding ring is fitted into the engagement ring, ideally the time to do this is when the engagement ring is being made.
We choose to hand make fitted rings to create a perfect bond between each ring so they look like a set. Each ring should be made to the same carat and of the same metal as the engagement ring to ensure a longer lasting set.
For example; if you have an 18ct gold engagement ring, it is not advisable to wear it next to a platinum wedding ring as the platinum will wear the 18ct gold away and you may encounter all kinds of problems in the future.
Don't worry if you have an unusual shaped engagement ring, we have a knack of being able to come up with the perfect matching wedding ring.
Wedding rings are usually organised six months before the wedding and finalised one month - two weeks before the big day to ensure each rings is properly fitted and to make sure they they are not being worn at home before the big day! We understand that our guys and girls can wait to wear them so we don't mind repolishing rings that were completed early.
Engagement rings are checked, cleaned and polished 1 week before the wedding to ensure they look new as well. There is nothing worse than seeing a scratched up and dirty engagement ring next to a brand new wedding ring in the close up wedding photos.
On the wedding day, the engagement ring is worn on the right hand ring finger and after the wedding ceremony the engagement ring is swapped to the left hand ring finger and sits next to the wedding ring.
As a wedding ring is round, it will spin. If you have a single solitary diamond in a wedding ring, 95% of the time it will be everywhere else but sitting in position at the top. If you think that this may drive you crazy, perhaps consider having three evenly spaced diamonds throughout the ring, so that one is near the top at all times.

Gent's wedding rings can be made from any metal, but remember men's fingers are usually bigger requiring more metal, therefore more cost. It is for this reason that Titanium is becoming the new trend for gent's wedders. The only drawback from using Titanium is that it is not resizable, so if your groom gains or loses weight it cannot be resized to fit, so it may not be so good for ever after after all. Palladium however, can be resized if necessary, is also gun-metal in colour and very similar to Titanium.
Depending on the style of the ring, it can up to 4 weeks to make and insure.
